Like the early disciples, I didn't really understand at first. I'd become a Christ follower many years ago, studied the Bible, and served faithfully  within the four walls of the local church. Yet there was something missing! And then it hit me, my purpose in life. I see them everywhere...the "lost" people. Those who have... 

• Lost faith in the "church"

• Lost faith in themselves, and

• Lost faith that God even cares.

Crossroads task is clear. We must follow the pattern established by Jesus and provide a culturally relevant, biblically competent environment for people to grow. The call to reach the lost for Christ is exciting. The need for ministry that is not afraid to walk outside the status quo is great. Crossroads will heed the call by "Being and Building Disciples for Christ!"
